Vapía-kègê Ye (/ˈvap˔a/ /ˈkègɘ/ [certain; sure] [surgery]) is a temperate Large City located in the Kymeleth County of the Union of Engineers.
The name Vapía-kègê Ye is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Vapía-kègê Ye was founded by Selebil, who was culturaly Iron Elvish.
Climate
Vapía-kègê Ye has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cool 18°C (64°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 12°C (53°F). Vapía-kègê Ye receives an average of 280 cm/y (110 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the long winter months. Vapía-kègê Ye covers an area of nearly 293 km2 (117 mi2), and an average elevation of 1174 m (3851 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Vapía-kègê Ye was founded durring the late 17th century in late summer of the year 1576, by Selebil. The establishment of Vapía-kègê Ye suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Vapía-kègê Ye which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.
Vapía-kègê Ye was built using the conventions of Iron Elvish durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vapía-kègê Ye is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Vapía-kègê Ye is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive canals streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city is in posession of a finaly crafted dwarvern style fortified fighting wall, completer with lower, middle, and upper battlments for use in sloped-fire defence stratagies, murder holes, and statues which may or may not be constructs, and, of course, MERTICULATIONSshortsizename is one of the wealthiest and politicaly connected settlments in the world.. Vapía-kègê Ye's Ragnarock-era relics has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
A look around Vapía-kègê Ye shows Vapía-kègê Ye is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.
Civic Infrastructure
Vapía-kègê Ye possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.

They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Vapía-kègê Ye's parks.
Vapía-kègê Ye has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Vapía-kègê Ye.

Vapía-kègê Ye possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large City. Vapía-kègê Ye's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
Vapía-kègê Ye's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Vapía-kègê Ye has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.
Vapía-kègê Ye has a library, which keeps a large collection of books, scrolls, and archives all manner of physical items. While not open to the public, the librarians and scholars employed by the library will assist anyone with their research needs, and wealthy individuals can purchase membership to access the library's materials themselves. In spite of being generally closed to the public, the library has a room with several Aether Linked devices available to the public during business hours.
Vapía-kègê Ye has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Vapía-kègê Ye's natural decorations nor waterways.
Vapía-kègê Ye has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.
Vapía-kègê Ye has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Vapía-kègê Ye has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Vapía-kègê Ye is home to a University which provides higher education in a variety of fields, and also serves as a research institute for those same fields.
Cultural Notes
A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.
Vapía-kègê Ye's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.
In Vapía-kègê Ye most nights are accompanied by colorful ribbons of light in the sky.
The Bee, Giant near Vapía-kègê Ye are known to be quite timid.
Vapía-kègê Ye's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves square dance to channel Charm energies of tier 2 via singing.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Vapía-kègê Ye was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Vapía-kègê Ye lost 263 people, 109 livestock, and 61 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 190, when members of Vapía-kègê Ye's militia enacted an operation to extract assets from a bridge under siege by the enemy. The operation was complicated by a key segment of the operation that deepened entirely on a stealth mission going perfectly. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Vapía-kègê Ye's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Vapía-kègê Ye's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
